Creative Writing

  • WITS Virtual Summer Camps - click here

    • WITS will have writing camps in partnership with Rice University School Literacy and Culture, Asia Society Texas Center, and the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston throughout July. The schedule and course offerings will be updated frequently at the link above.

    • Additionally, WITS plans to announce short workshops, writing studio small group classes, and writing clubs that will take place throughout July and August.

 Diversity in the Arts  

Diversity in The ARTS and Entertainment is offering a Virtual Creative Arts Camp Series this summer for students ages 6-14 years old. Camps will run from June 8th - August 7th for $30 for one week. To learn more or register, head to www.diversityinthearts.com

The Virtual Creative Arts Camp Series will offered students the following: 

  • Visual Arts - 3D Art, Acrylic  & Water Painting, Sketching

  • Musical Theater - The Art of Auditioning, Characterization and Improvisation

  • Creative Writing  -  Techniques and tips in good story writing

  • Dance - Techniques in Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop and Cultural Dance

  • Drum Clinics - Techniques in proper position, drum rolls, rudiments, and rhythms
