This dynamic event, hosted by Arts Connect Houston, will celebrate the impact of arts education on the student experience. Leaders in the field will share arts education trends in Houston, progress toward equity, and the impact of a robust arts education. This inspiring event will be attended by more than 250 educators, artists, art partners and Houstonians who believe in the transformative impact of the arts for students. We are excited to welcome Mayor Sylvester Turner, HISD Superintendent Millard House, Houston’s leading arts and culture organizations, their staff and board members as well some very special guests!

Includes Student Leaders, Stories, Performances, a Data-Driven Partner Case Study,  a Panel Discussion with Community Leaders,  & the 2022 Champions in the Arts Awards.

Explore the Asia Society Galleries (optional)

Feel free to explore and take in the art!  The Asia Society Texas have generously invited guests to stay after the State of the Arts in Education event and visit the galleries. 

 

Parking

Free parking is available in the private Asia Society Texas parking lot directly across from the building.
